She was taken to a private hospital where doctors decalred her brought dead. Her body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem.
According to sources, the Mumbai Police has found a suicide note, allegedly written by Jiah, from the spot. The police are questioning the watchman of the apartment and Jiah's neighbours to know who had last visited the actress in her flat, the sources said.
She had worked oppoiste megastar Amitabh Bachchan in 'Nishad'. She had also played a role in Aamir Khan's starrer 'Gajni'.
The actress was last seen on the big screen in Sajid Khan's movie 'Housefull' along with Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Riteish Deshmukh and Lara Dutta.
